I am glad to learn that The Rai Saheb Rekhchand Mohota Spinning & Weaving Mills Limited, Hinganghat, Dist. Wardha, is celebrating its centenary this year.

It is heartening that the first composite textile mill of Vidarbha region is not only still going strong today after hundred years, but has kept pace with technological developments. This is a tribute to the vision of the founder of the Mill, Shri Rekhchandji Mohota. I am particularly happy to note that even with a large workforce of about 3000 persons,the management has been able to resolve disputes through a peaceful and Gandhian approach, thereby ensuring cordial labour relations.

I am glad to learn that The Rai Saheb Rekhchand Mohota Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd. , Hinganghat, is celebrating its centenary this year.

Completion of a century year is indeed an important landmark in the history of any institution, more so in case of textile mill the R.S.R. Mohota Mill which has been in the forefront of the textile industry in Vidarbha.

I appreciate the efforts of the management to run the mill in tune with the changing times, by undertaking modernisation from time to time. This is absolutely necessary to survive in this age of advanced technology

The Company has played stellar role in developing the new technique to take out the superior quality of cloth,which has become famous not only in Maharashtra but also throughout India and abroad

I hope that in the coming years, The R. S. R. Mohota Spg. & Wvg. Mills Ltd. would continue to strive for excellence and contribute to the State’s as well as the Nation’s economy in a bigger way. I wish it all success and offer my congratulations to all concerned.

I am delighted to hear about the Centenary Celebrations of The R.S.R. Mohota Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd. Mr. Girdhardasji Mohota and Mr. Basantkumar Mohota deserve all praise for this achievement.

The prudent choice of machines, men and material over a period of years have resulted in the steady growth of this Institution. On this special centenary occasion, I wish the Mill, Mr. Girdhardasji Mohota, Mr. B. K. Mohota and all the mill personnel the very best for a bright future.
